Reviews and Ratings
Thyme is a lovely escape in the Cotswolds, offering a unique blend of activities, beautiful grounds, and great food options. The rooms are charming but may lack some amenities and cooling options, which was a bit of a drawback for us. Overall, the experience was delightful, especially the spa treatments and culinary classes, though the service could vary.
My recent stay at the hotel was quite an experience, with its beautiful setting and the tranquility of the surroundings. The decor is absolutely stunning, showcasing meticulous attention to detail, but I faced a few hiccups along the way that diminished the overall enjoyment. While the facilities including the spa and cooking course showcased potential, communication issues and some organizational challenges hindered the experience somewhat. Overall, there's a lot to love about this place, but it needs some fine-tuning to fully meet its potential.
Our stay at Thyme was an enjoyable escape to the Cotswolds, with stunning surroundings and amazing spa experiences. However, the service was inconsistent, and the handling of our allergies at breakfast left a bit to be desired. The building work during our visit also detracted from the tranquil environment we were hoping for.
I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend at the hotel, celebrating a birthday with my sister. The décor was charming, and the rooms were comfortable. The food at the Ox Barn was outstanding, and we enjoyed a delightful cookery course. However, in a different experience, the self-catering cottage had some issues like noise disturbance and a lack of basics like milk in the fridge. Despite that, the spa treatments were impressive and the overall ambiance was lovely.
Thyme offers a delightful escape in a wonderful atmosphere, with an exquisite design that captures the essence of comfort and luxury. I had a fantastic experience in the spa, enjoyed a delicious meal at The Swan, and relished the privacy of our individual room. However, my stay was slightly marred by some minor service hiccups during our dining experience and a bit of noise from the cottage’s plumbing. Overall, it’s a charming place that feels like a home away from home.
